Email us: hello@itemmap.app

Tell us what device you're on (iPhone or Android) and, if something went wrong during a scan, roughly when it happened. That's usually enough for us to find it.

Getting a good scan

ItemMap builds a 3D map of the space while you scan, so how you move the phone matters more than how long you scan for.

Common questions

My items are still processing. How long does it take?

Items start appearing while you're still scanning, but the full catalog keeps filling in for a few minutes after you stop. If a scan looks stuck for much longer than that, email us with roughly when you took it.

An item was identified incorrectly.

You can rename or edit any item in the app, and your name always wins over ours. Corrections genuinely help. If something is badly wrong, we'd like to hear about it.

The same object shows up twice.

Deduplicating objects seen from different angles is one of the harder parts of what we do, and we're actively improving it. Let us know if you see it happening a lot.

What does ItemMap cost?

Starting out is free: you can catalog a couple hundred items, and your first two weeks include everything (scanning, search, and connecting your inventory to your AI assistant). After that, an ItemMap subscription ($16.99/month or $169/year) keeps all of it. Your inventory itself never goes away: browsing and exporting what you've already cataloged is free, forever. Don't want a subscription? One-time scan packs cover scanning, pay as you go.

Why does ItemMap need my camera and microphone?

The camera is how scanning works. The microphone is part of the scan stream that carries the video. We do not use your microphone outside of an active scan. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.
